When you sign up for the service, we will tell you if your requested email and subdomain are available and then send you the link to finalize your request and payment. If you only want an email or subdomain, we will temporarily reserve the matching email or subdomain for a small fee, which we will apply should you exercise your option to buy that matching email or subdomain.

With Gmail and Yahoo (and many others) you can send email from your account as if it were your vanity email (see your email provider for details and instructions).
SUBDOMAINS:
You design, host, modify and update your website as you always have - we simply point your vanity PrivateInvestigations.org subdomain to your existing website. This works with any website you have. We can setup a specific subdomain to point at a specific page on your website. For a small fee we can add meta descriptions, metatags and special descriptions that will assist with SEO and make your generic website look more professional!
USES AND DETAILS:
If you have a special event, webpage or other need for a temporary email or subdomain, we can accommodate you for a small setup and monthly fee. We cannot accommodate common email or subdomain requests - such as first names only, 'books', 'training', etc., or trademarked or copyrighted names. To set you apart, we suggest email such as 'youragency@privateinvestigations.org' or 'firstname.lastname@privateinvestigations.org' and for subdomains 'youragency.privateinvestigations.org' or 'firstlast.privateinvestigations.org' -- and every state is available (limited as used), such as 'statepi@privateinvestigations.org' or 'statepi.privateinvestigations.org'. It is only limited by your imagination and needs. You can also obtain email addresses and subdomains for your entire agency and staff (sorry, no 'admin' or similar can be used).

What does it cost?
(NO SETUP FEES - as little as $5 month, pre-paid annually)
We have tried to keep it simple, but there is time involved in setting up the account and maintaining all the requests.
We can also setup a simple one-page website for you with your vanity address.
From the time of your request and payment, your account will be setup within 1-2 hours and active in less than 24 hours (changes are usually finalized overnight by the domain registrar and host).
All accounts use 'masked' forwarding so that your vanity subdomain appears in the web browser, together with the title you choose.
All accounts expire December 31st each year. We will send you a renewal reminder with an early pay discount in November. Expired accounts are held inactive for 30 days and then released (if the name is requested to be reserved, you might lose that vanity name). Expired accounts are assessed the setup fee to re-activate.

Please remember, this is a redirection service and will not resolve any issues you may have with your email or website host. The SEO services are limited to the title, meta description, meta keywords, and welcome text; all other SEO is through your website host. You must supply the keywords (limit 10 per item -- meta words must be separated by commas).
- Email: FREE setup and $5 per month, pre-paid annually, pro-rated from the month your account is setup.
- Subdomain: FREE setup and $5 per month, pre-paid annually, pro-rated from the month your account is setup.
- Temporary Email or Subdomain: FREE setup and $10 per month, pre-paid (these are limited to events and promotions - i.e. Your2012Conference.PrivateInvestigations.org).
- SEO setup (title, meta description, meta keywords, welcome text): FREE initial setup.
- Maintenance to change email or subdomain redirect, or edit SEO information is $10 per incident.
- There is no charge to reserve matching email or subdomains for annual accounts the first 30 days. After 30 days the reservation is released.
- There is no charge to fix any errors on our part -- please notify us by email ASAP and provide specifics of your issue.
